I started this blog on August 29th, my 21st birthday. It began as a small idea but has since grown into something much bigger. I currently have 36 posts up and it is now a huge part of my life. None of this would have been possible without readers like you.
I just wanted to take a few minutes and thank you all for your support and your inspiring conversation. It so refreshing to know that there are so many out there who value a simple life. Living simple is not always easy, but it is always worth it. It takes a lot of discipline, but the rewards justify it completely.
I encourage you all to share your views about simple living. Whether it be in your own blog (which I highly recommend!), in a guest post on your favorite blog, in a comment on a post, in an e-mail, in a conversation, or even just to yourself in a journal. Simplifying your life is much easier when those around you are doing it too!

I encourage all of you bloggers out there to register your blog for Blog Action Day 2008: Poverty. The posting day is October 15th. There are over 7,000 sites involved and over 9,000,000 potential readers signed up already. No matter what the topic of your blog is, there is probably a way to incorporate the subject of poverty into one of your posts. Here are some post ideas on the Blog Action Day website. I know that not all of you are bloggers, but I wanted you to be aware of this movement anyway. Blog Action Day’s goal is to effectively change the conversation of the internet for one day. Hey guys, just wanted to give you a heads up and let you know that I am in the middle of moving. The last few days have been pretty stressful and taxing on my body. I am ready to be done with it! I won’t be able to post for the next few days, or atleast until I get my new internet connection up and running.

Post Frequency
For starters, I want to dramatically increase the post frequency for Simple Sapien. I know, I know, I have been slacking these last two weeks. Sorry for that! My new goal is to post at least one post per day, so be sure to subscribe to the SimpleSapien.com RSS feed or subscribe via email to stay up to date with the new posts.
