Hello readers! Yes, all two or three of you! Just wanted to give you guys a heads up on some changes around the site.

Post Frequency

For starters, I want to dramatically increase the post frequency for Simple Sapien. I know, I know, I have been slacking these last two weeks. Sorry for that! My new goal is to post at least one post per day, so be sure to subscribe to the SimpleSapien.com RSS feed or subscribe via email to stay up to date with the new posts.

I will do my best to keep on top of things. Be sure to let me know if there are any specific topics on simple living that you like me to cover or if you have any ideas in general. Thanks!

Comment Changes

Also, I am trying to promote more discussion around the site. Having you guys add your own comments and feedback to posts adds a whole new dimension to my blog and fills in gaps that I may have missed. I value all of your opinions and want to hear what you have to say! Correct me, flame me, question me, whatever. I have implemented a few new plugins to make the comment experience a little better.

First off, I have added the option to subscribe to follow up comments via email for any comments that you post. This can be incredibly helpful if you post a ton of comments and want to keep track of what people are discussing. Just check the box below your comment to activate this feature.

Second, I have added the CommentLuv plugin. After commenting, this plugin will attempt to parse the URL you entered for your website and post a link to your latest post right below your comment. I am a big fan of helping anyone build links to their blogs and websites, so I have made the links “dofollow”! This means each link will count for you in Google. So get posting! And please… no spam

Third, I have added the top commentators widget on my sidebar. This will display the name with a link to their website of the users who have been commenting the most. Get your name out there and help build visibility to your blog or website.

Once again, all links on this site are “dofollow” as of now, so get to commenting as much as possible! Your comments and criticisms are greatly appreciated and I will try to respond to all of them in a timely manner.
